Introduced in 1991, the Porsche 964 Carrera RS revived the legendary "RennSport" badge after a nearly 20-year hiatus. Developed primarily for the European market as a lightweight, track-focused homologation special based on the Carrera Cup race car, it shed roughly 300 lbs (135 kg) of weight and remains one of the purest air-cooled 911s ever built.
